Erebus Backstory and Collections
Erebus is the personification of darkness and darkness. Its domains are demarcated by its dark and lifeless robes, predominating over the regions of space known as “Vacuum” just above the night robes of its chosen soul, the personification of the night. Erebus was the offspring of Chaos. Chaos will rise across the lands as Erebus creeps away from the darkness and is brought to life.
There are 3 collections minted to date: the V1 Collection on Opensea, Pixelated Collection on Rarible, and the Kalamint Collection on the Tesos blockchain.
V1 Collection (Open Sea)
The V1 Erebus is a collection of 3000 Dark Soul Creatures who have been awakened. The creatures are in search of a soul and the following key numbers; 46, 345, 2222, and 2946. These keys will later unlock a deeper look into the soul of a creature that will be a key process in having the creature be able to evolve. Yes, the creatures can evolve. How? The soul who owns the creature with any of those 4 keys will be earning 0.05% of the royalties from the collection. These numbers can be found throughout the V1 collection. Can you find them first? The dark souled creatures are yearning to become strong and evolve into their best form, their strongest form.
In addition, 100 Dark Royal Blood creatures will be scattered throughout the V1 collection. This is the strongest blood in the land. They are the only creatures that can fuse. How? When a soul owns a Dark Royal Blood along with any other creature in the collection, they can contact Erebus via discord and we will fuse the two, creating a new creature specifically for them. When a regular creature fuses with royal blood, you never know what you may get. This will be able to happen once the collection is fully sold out and fusing creatures can begin.
Next, one set of twins is somewhere throughout the collection. Will you be able to locate and own them both before anyone else? Once the twins are found and collected by the same owner, they will receive a special 1/1 which will make the V1 collection ending in a collection of 3001 -excluding the fused creatures.
Lastly, there are creatures throughout the collection that have hidden special characters on them, which make them invaluable to the collectors who get them first. These creatures will grant special perks for individuals who own them, this will only be announced on discord once all special creatures are owned by their collectors.
Creatures Rarities:
As you go up in the rarities, each creature has more spikes, more animation, more objects, and more movement the higher they go. There are 5 levels of rarity:
Zephyr — 41.6% Zephyr Creatures (Basic)
Zephyrs are creatures with only one spike on their back. They are the most common creature in the collection. They come in a variety of skins and colors.
Nexus- 28.33%Nexus Creatures (Common)
Nexus creatures have two spikes on their back. They are the second most common creature in the collection. They also come in an extremely beautiful variety of skins and colors.
Hex- 20% Hex Creatures (Rare)
The Hex level of creatures will have an object in their hands, three spikes on their back, slight more movement going on and also come in a stunning variety of skins.
Talos- 9.3% Talos Creatures (Ultra)
The Talos creatures are the second rarest form of creature, they also have objects in their hands, head movement, possible background movement and will come in unique skins.
Alastor- 0.67% Alastor creatures. (Dark God)
Alastors are the rarest form of creature. They are the only creatures that face the right rather than the left, and they have a very visible and unique sense of movement.
Pixelated Erebus (Rarible)
The Pixelated Erebus is a bonus collection on the Rarible platform. It consists of #50 creatures plus the #0 that was air dropped to those lucky few upon the launch of Erebus’s V1 collection. Those same lucky few were also airdropped 0.05ETH. The most unique aspect of this collections is the unlockable content. Each of the pixelated Erebus will unlock a code with a power. This code can be used to merge the pixelated creature with a V1 creature. Only 50 merges will occur. As a result, a new creature will be minted and sent to the owner. This merge will be a combination of the pixelated and V1 collection, resulting in a very unique and rare creature. Again, only 50 of these merged creatures will exist.
Kalamint Collection
Kalamint is a Tezos collection, consisting of 150 tezos. It is also connected to the V1 connection. There are two perks to this collection. First, by owning a Kalamint creature, the owner will be automatically white-listed for a free creature in the upcoming V2 collection on Rarible. The owner will only pay the minting process fees. Second, owners will also be white-listed for the second Kalamint collection, in which they will be able purchase a 2nd Collection Kalamint Creature for 5 Tezos. The second Kalamint collection will be released by the end of 2022.
